Belmont Church of Christ was founded in 1953. The original chapel that was built served as the main worship area for the congregation. The church began to grow and the leadership decided to expand and add a new auditorium in 1966. The original chapel facility now serves as a worship area for our youth ministry. The strength in the Belmont congregation lies in these mature members. Facts about the Dayton Area
Belmont Church of Christ is located in Dayton, Ohio in the southwestern part of the state. It is approximately 50 minutes north of Cincinnati and one hour and fifteen minutes southwest of Columbus. The city of Dayton has 155,000 residents while the Dayton Metro Area has a population of 850,000.There are several very nice communities in the Dayton Metro Area including Beavercreek, Bellbrook, Centerville, Kettering, Oakwood and Springboro. All of these are within easy driving distance of the church building. We are looking for a minister who is sound in the Word. A college degree in biblical studies or a preaching certificate from a school of preaching is needed. You must have at least 5 years experience. Besides preaching, you will be expected to visit members and visitors, teach classes, personal evangelism, preparation of bulletin articles, typical minister duties and help encourage and motivate the congregation. The successful candidate will have good speaking skills and be personable. You will be expected to interact with both the young and old. The Pulpit Minister needs to be spiritually mature, energetic and passionate about sharing God's Word with people. The Pulpit Minister should be a skilled communicator and orator who can connect with the congregation in a way that encourages their spiritual growth.
We prefer individuals with:
• A minimum of 8-10 years of preaching experience
• A family who is supportive and involved in the church
Specific responsibilities include:
• Corporate/Assembly (Preaching, teaching, etc)
• Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience and careful instruction (2 Tim 4:2).

• Maintain personal study time in God's Word to continue to grow spiritually and in the knowledge of God's word
• Feed the congregation and help it grow spiritually and in the knowledge of God's word

Notes: The East Main Street Church of Christ, Princeton, WV is seeking an experienced Full-Time Minister. We are an established, self-supported congregation in Southern WV. Princeton is a town of approximately 7,000, serving 12-15,000, located just off of Interstate 77 in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. Concord University, Bluefield State College, and Bluefield College are within 20 minutes. Our regular attendance is approximately 50-75, with a large percentage of the congregation age 45 years or older. The church is currently led by 2 Elders who are assisted by 3 Deacons.
The church is seeking a man whose life is firmly grounded in the word of God with a dedication towards helping the congregation grow spiritually, in unity, and in number. His motivation should be rooted in pleasing God.
We desire a family man, although this is not required. He should be able to assist with local outreach, especially with the youth / college students, young adults, and young families with children. He should be self-motivated, energetic, outgoing, and able to encourage all age groups. The possession of good leadership and organizational skills are important. A college degree in biblical studies / preaching is strongly desired, with consideration given to an individual from a school of preaching. He should be an engaging speaker with the ability to relate scripture to daily life and possess effective Bible teaching skills for classes. Competency in using technology and being computer literate are encouraged.
The main working priority is Full-Time preaching. This consists of preaching at least 2 sermons each week for the East Main Street Church of Christ which strengthen, motivate, and encourage the church body and our visitors. Other responsibilities will include: Teaching a bible class each quarter; Establishing and maintaining a church web site; Writing a short weekly article/message for the church bulletin; and Community outreach/evangelism. He will also be responsible for conducting visitations as needed, including but not limited to: hospital visits, nursing home visits, congregation shut-ins, those who have missed consistently for some time, those who are struggling, and local visitors. Most importantly, he must hold to Biblically Sound doctrine in all matters.

Northtown Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a 2010 summer youth intern to minister to a diverse group of 7th-12th graders. During this eight week paid internship (June 1st – July 31st), you will have ample opportunity to put into practice what you’ve been learning at school. Duties will include teaching Bible classes, planning and managing events and activities, helping with VBS, leading in worship, and forming relationships with our teens.
