May God find you doing great in his kingdom, my name is Tim Gean, When I was worshiping at center Road Church of Christ in Saginaw Michigan, a young Preacher Named Ken Campbell came there to Preach and was told that they had 6 months worth of wages for him and if he had not grown the congregation far enough to afford him, he would have to search else where. Ken took it, and before long the congregation was approaching a hundred. needless to say he stayed. I think Ken is one of the best preachers I have ever heard, him and Lisa are even today examples to me. That congregation had went through splits and was ready to vanish away, But God blessed the hands of Ken and worked through him, and today they are in the 80's the last I heard. We are in destitute searching for a man who can lead us like Ken did at Center Road in the 80’s. So here is my plea, and below is our desire.
We are in search of a full time minister/Evangelist. If married with children this is a plus. We would like Wife to be involved in Secret sisters and teach a ladies bible class., or just be involved with the ladies. The preacher must be an evangelist who preaches. Solid in doctrine, and leads by example. We have 5 men out of an congregation of 25 who are willing to be involved in Evangelism, We are a congregation of older people. I am 55 and am one of the young ones. This full time position is focused on church growth, both spiritually and physically. No preacher’s home and no health Insurance. East Hill Church of Christ Worship and Family Minister
East Hill Church of Christ is a congregation of approximately 400 members including over 120 children with over 60 of them in grades 6 through 12. The Worship and Family Minister’s role is that of facilitating church growth through two areas; collective worship and family life. The Worship and Family Minister position bears several key responsibilities.
The first responsibility involves the coordination of the Sunday morning worship. The Worship and Family Minister will serve as the worship coordinator and member of the Worship Committee, as well as coaching, training, mentoring, and leading others to serve in corporate worship time. The Worship and Family Minister is expected to be one of several who serve as worship leader. His organizational and networking skills must equip him to effectively plan weekly services and to involve a diverse group of individuals in leading worship in a vibrant, biblical approach that promotes spiritual development of the congregation.
Second, the Worship and Family Minister is responsible for all family education programs. This includes indirect involvement in coordinating all education programs for both Sunday morning and Wednesday classes for the middle school and high school. Since families include a broad age group, curriculum development will include teaching parents how to lead their children for positive spiritual growth, encouraging teens to resist negative lifestyle choices, and guiding parents and children in improving family communication skills. The Worship and Family Minister will serve as a member of the Youth Steering Committee and act as the coordinator of the youth interns (4 total: split 2 each between the middle school and high school).
East Hill Church of Christ is located across the street from York College of which approximately 50 percent of its students are members of the Church of Christ. The Worship and Family Minister will work collaboratively with a Senior Minister, a Children’s Education Coordinator, and nine shepherds.

The Queensbury Church of Christ in Upstate New York is a sound congregation of the Lord's Body serving an area population of over 100,000 souls. We have been without a minister for a year. We are now initiating the search to fill the position of minister(s) for our Queensbury Body.
Though this area is rightly identified as a "Mission Field", we have been blessed with the physical rewards of many years of conscientious effort by the members of the Queensbury congregation. As part of our plan to spread the Gospel, we own a commodious building free of debt and are now in the position of accumulating excess income and cash reserves. We are also blessed by having capable men within the congregation to both lead and serve our worship services.
On the other hand, our attendance, which averages between 15 and 20 members, is not able to support a full-time minister. In addition, we lack an appropriate demographic within the congregation to appeal to potential converts and their families. For the most part, our church Family is above the age of 50; we lack children. From a spiritual standpoint, we all realize the saving power of the Gospel; but from the practical side, it is extremely difficult to initially attract families when we lack similar age groups within the congregation to provide association and encouragement.
We are not looking for someone to "preach to the choir". We are asking your help in locating and funding a mission team of three families, three ministers/evangelists with their families, to commit to three to five years of service in Queensbury to build a house of God that will be able to influence Northeast New York for decades to come.
We are convinced that the result of the efforts of a mission team of three full-time workers and their families on the basically "un-churched" people of Warren, Washington, northern Saratoga and lower Essex Counties would be extremely effective. For instance, we have several hundred children living within a few miles of the church building, most of whom have never been to a Sunday School or Vacation Bible School. We have thousands of poverty-level people in the area looking for the hope that only Christ can bring and we have never had enough men and women to go into the community, to develop classes and to preach the Gospel.
By searching for a team of three men and their families, we gain not only three evangelists but the critical spiritual mass within the congregation to convert and maintain Christians.
